For the first ten episodes of Series 1, Southern and Ulster followed the same broadcast order as ABC. For the final five episodes, when ABC moved the series from 9.10pm to 10.10pm, in readiness for ATV London, Border, Channel and Westward joining the network feed, Southern retained the 9.10pm placing, as did Ulster for one week only. No longer receiving the network feed from ABC, Southern and Ulster took the opportunity to show the episodes in a different order for the remainder of Series 1, presumably receiving videotape copies to allow them to do so.

* Replaced the scheduled The Morning Wasn’t So Hot.
** It is possible that these two episodes were shown in the opposite order by Westward and its affiliate Channel. Some listings state that Channel and Westward aired ‘And a Very Fine Fiddle Has He’ on Saturday 3 July 1965 and Protection is a Man’s Best Friend on Saturday 10 July 1965, whereas other sources indicate that ‘And a Very Fine Fiddle Has He’ was broadcast on both dates. This suggests that, although the original plan was for Channel and Westward to transmit ‘And a Very Fine Fiddle Has He’ before Protection is a Man’s Best Friend, ultimately they followed the same broadcast order as ATV London and Border.

* Also transmitted by Teledu Cymru. At this point in time, Teledu Cymru ran a similar schedule to TWW, but with English-language programming sometimes replaced with Welsh-language content. On every other occasion between Saturday 24 July and Saturday 25 September 1965, when TWW showed Public Eye on a Saturday night, Teledu Cymru instead broadcast a Welsh-language programme, followed by the half-hour American Western series The Deputy. The Welsh programme on these dates was usually Dilyn y Band (Follow the Band), a brass band knockout competition, except on Saturday 7 August 1965, when The Deputy was preceded by the comedy sketch show Noson Lawen (A Merry Evening). When TWW moved Public Eye to Tuesday nights, Teledu Cymru did not follow suit, preferring instead to show The Human Jungle (from 28 September to 12 October 1965) or Gideon’s Way (on 2 November and 9 November 1965).
